MEDIKO is seeking a Registered Nurse for Lynnwood Jail in Lynnwood, WA, to provide direct patient care in a correctional setting during 12-hour night shifts.

You will perform assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response while collaborating with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans and ensure adherence to facility policies and state regulations.

Formación

• Current, valid RN licensure in applicable state(s)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• 1–3 years healthcare experience, preferably in correctional setting
• Experience in regulated environments and direct patient care is advantageous
• Active CPR/BLS certificate required (AHA/Red Cross compliant)

Job Details: Job Location: Lynwood Jail - Lynwood, WA 98036, Position Type: MEDIKO Employee - Full Time, Salary Range: $54.00 - $62.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Night Shift, Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Lynnwood Jail, Lynnwood, WA

Status: Full Time, 12 hour night shifts.

Salary: $54-$62, Placement on scale is determined by the candidate's level of job-related experience.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response. This role will collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans while ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards. The RN will also educate patients on health conditions, monitor their progress, and contribute to a safe and effective healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• A current, valid state(s) licensure, certificate and/or credentials documenting ability to practice in applicable role (RN).
• An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional healthcare or similar environment.
• Experience in roles that involve direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the correctional setting is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, adhere to protocols, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, structured environment.
• Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved).
