Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as Registered Nurse in North Carolina. BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Maintains compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates competence in patient care skills within the scope of practice for the Registered Nurse, including assessment, exams, procedures, medications, and patient education.
• Processes orders, communicates results, and notifies the physician as directed.
• Documents care provided in the patient’s medical record.
• Facilitates patient flow and prioritization of work assignments.
• Monitors supplies and performs safety checks on medical equipment.
• Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention) and participates in unit-based improvements.
• Exhibits strong customer service and effective communication with patients, families, and staff.
