Job summary

Henry Ford Health System recherche un(e) infirmier(ère) pour un poste tournant en pré-opératoire et PACU. Le candidat idéal aura un BSN, de solides compétences en communication, et devra être prêt à travailler des week-ends et des jours fériés. Une expérience dans un service d'urgence ou en soins intensifs est préférée.

Qualifications

• Diplôme en soins infirmiers d'une école accréditée.
• Connaissance clinique et capacités analytiques nécessaires.
• Au moins 1 an d'expérience en soins aigus, de préférence en PACU.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.


• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.


• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.


• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.


• Rotating Pre op and PACU position.


• 530a-4p and 9a-730pm.


• Weekend, holiday and on call obligation required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.


• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.


• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.


• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.


• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.


• 1-year of ED, ICU or acute care setting preferred


• Previous PACU experience preferred.
