Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home hospice care with flexibility in PRN scheduling across Missouri counties. You’ll deliver 1:1 patient care, administer meds, monitor symptoms, and document care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, have hospice or home health experience, and can travel locally.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Ability to travel locally to assigned cases.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their home and provide nursing care including medication administration, wound care, treatments and comfort care.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to the supervisor.
• Follow up on and document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as needed.
• Occasional on-call after hours and/or weekends.

Per Diem (PRN) Hospice RN Available

We are recruiting for a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to reliably serve patients in the following counties in these following counties: Barton, Jasper, McDonald, Newton, Dade. This is a Per Diem (PRN) position.

What you’ll do:

• Visit a variety of clients in their own home-Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
• Performing client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends

What you should have:

• Active and current RN license
• One year of clinical experience preferred
• Previous hospice experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you!
• Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned
