Job summary

The Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process, ensure accountability, advocate for patients, and coordinate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to deliver safe, effective treatment.

You will work across Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women\'s Health units, adapt to varying shifts, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, document care accurately, and participate in

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license.
• Recent bedside RN experience: 1 year for Med Surg, 2 years for specialized units.
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process, ensuring accountability and professional standards.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Coordinate with Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health departments to ensure seamless care.

Job description
