Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit Nurse

Unit Overview

The Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit features 10 beds dedicated to the care of pediatric patients before and after surgery, along with a 4-bed Pediatric Surgical Observation Unit (PSOU). The PSOU provides specialized postoperative monitoring for children who need overnight observation or an extended recovery period of up to 23 hours following their surgical procedure.

Assignment Details

• Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Time Off: Up to 40 hours allowed with approval

Certifications and Licensing

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Applicants with a pending state nursing license will be considered
