Incredible Health Hospitals in the Washington, DC area are actively hiring a Registered Nurse for Pediatric ER. The role supports young patients with urgent medical needs across day, night, and mid shifts.

Positions include full-time, part-time, and per diem, with comprehensive benefits and a magnet-recognized facility. The successful candidate will have an RN license, ADN or higher nursing degree, and pediatric/ER experience or training, plus strong communication with families and healthcare

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a pediatric and/or emergency room (ER) setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require any type of urgent medical care.
• Treat pediatric patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients, including children and adolescents, and their families about the patient's condition and care plan.
