Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric ER to support care in the Washington, DC area. The role offers day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and prefers BLS/ACLS/PALS certification. Experience with pediatric ER equipment and excellent communication skills are valued as part of a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• RN with ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active RN license in good standing (unencumbered).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
• 1+ years in pediatric and/or ER settings preferred.
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients requiring urgent medical care.
• Treat pediatric patients with trauma, injuries, or severe conditions.
• Assess patient needs promptly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer medications, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients, including children and adolescents, and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
