Incredible Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric ER to support urgent pediatric care in the Washington, DC area. You’ll work across day, night, and mid shifts in a full-time role, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver rapid assessment and high-quality treatment.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred, and 1+ year pediatric ER experience, with strong communication skills and experience with

Competenze

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
• 1+ year experience in pediatric ER or emergency room preferred.
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent communication with children and families and other healthcare professionals.

Mansioni

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat pediatric patients suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor patient health, administer medications and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether discharge or longer stay is needed.
• Educate patients and families about condition and care plan.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a pediatric and/or emergency room (ER) setting preferred
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families

Responsibilities

Salary

Salary: $61,470 to $130,000 /year
