About This Role

What You'll Do

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Support the care of unstable and critically ill patients throughout the hospital.
• Perform a variety of patient care and technical duties in the outpatient Device Clinic.
• Educate patients and families regarding device function and clinic follow-up routine.
• Assist with rapid responses and Code Blue on inpatient units.
• Evaluate the patient/family/significant other’s responses to established goals and interventions.
• Implement clinical and technical aspects of care and physicians’ orders.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other multidisciplinary team members for comprehensive care.
• Ensure timely and proper documentation and billing.

Requirements

• Education: Nursing diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: 2 years of Critical Care experience required.
• Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in Massachusetts required. BLS and ACLS certifications required.
