Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse (PD1) to provide professional nursing care in the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Device Clinic. The role focuses on both direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

The position is part-time with rotating shifts. Candidate should have a nursing diploma (BSN preferred), 2 years of critical care experience, and an active MA RN license with BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• 2 years of Critical Care experience required.
• Massachusetts RN license required; BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Support the care of unstable and critically ill patients throughout the Hospital.
• Perform patient care and technical duties in the outpatient Device Clinic.
• Educate patients and families regarding device function and follow-up routine.
• Assist with rapid responses and Code Blue on inpatient units.
• Coordinate and prioritize care with other healthcare team members.
• Document patient progress and ensure timely communication of patient information.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.

About This Role

This role is ideal for nurses who are skilled in managing both direct and indirect patient care, particularly in critical and outpatient settings.
