Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Tucson PCU/Stepdown unit. This role focuses on medium to high acuity patients with skilled hemodynamic monitoring and advanced cardiac care. Shifts include day, night, and mid, with full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Expect to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate families on care plans. Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, active RN license, and 1 year in stepdown or related specialties with BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license.
• 1 year stepdown/neurology/cardiac experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with continuous monitoring of vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans with accurate, timely orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and the use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign monitors.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records in line with hospital policies and regulations.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
