Incredible Health is actively hiring for a Registered Nurse – PCU/Stepdown in the Toms River, NJ area. This role requires RN licensure, ADN or higher, and experience in medium to high acuity settings. Strong competencies in hemodynamic monitoring and EMR usage are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing is required.
• Active RN license without encumbrances is required.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar medium-high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with monitoring of vital signs, IV drips and other indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and healthcare professionals for optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
