Incredible Health in Grand Blanc, MI seeks a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit to manage medium to high-acuity patients and collaborate with the care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency, with 1 year of stepdown or similar experience. Multiple shifts available, with comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing required.
• Active RN license in good standing required.
• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with vigilant monitoring of vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans per medical orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and monitoring devices.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records in line with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
