Qualifications include ADN or higher, active RN license, and 1 year of relevant high-acuity experience. BLS/ACLS required; EMR proficiency essential for patient documentation and care coordination.

Qualifications

• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or related high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with careful monitoring of vitals and IV drips.
• Administer medications and execute complex treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP devices.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records in compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred

• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
