Job summary

Incredible Health in Boston, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for PCU/Stepdown. Requires ADN+ and active RN license, plus BLS/ACLS and high-acuity experience to monitor and treat critically ill patients.

You will administer meds, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate families on device use and vital signs. Strong EMR skills and patient documentation are essential.

Qualifications

  • ADN or higher nursing degree required.
  • Active and unencumbered RN license.
  • 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar high acuity setting preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association.
  • Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
  • Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans accurately.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and nurses to ensure optimal care.
  • Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and device use (BiPAP/CPAP/home oxygen).
  • Maintain timely and accurate patient records following policies.

Qualifications

  • Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
  • Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
