Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown at a hospital in Edison, NJ. Shifts include day, night and mid; full-time, part-time and per diem positions available. Strong emphasis on hemodynamic monitoring and rapid, accurate care for high-acuity patients.

Requirements include ADN or higher nursing degree, active RN license, 1 year of stepdown/medium to high acuity experience, BLS and ACLS. EMR proficiency and excellent collaboration with care teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or other medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of equipment.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records in accordance with policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

Qualifications

• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
