Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking PCU RNs in Virginia to take control of your schedule. Shifts run 7a–7p or 7p–7a and you can work as little as one shift per month, with daily or weekly pay options and the freedom to choose when you work.

You'll assess patients, monitor rhythms, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians in hospital settings. Active Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience, BLS/ACLS, and eligibility for facility assignments are required; vaccination or exemption is

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments

• Active Virginia RN License
