First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking a PCU RN for per diem roles with flexible scheduling in Virginia. You will assess and monitor patients, administer medications, and coordinate care with physicians and the care team across hospital units.

The position requires an active Virginia RN license, BLS and ACLS, and recent PCU experience. Expect a dynamic, hospital-based setting with responsive staffing support and opportunities to pick up shifts that fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing in past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required by facility.

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS

• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment
