First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking PCU RNs for flexible per diem shifts in North Carolina. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p or 7p-7a rotations and the option to work as little as one shift per month.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with active Virginia license and PCU experience.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing in past 4 years; BLS/ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months; COVID vaccination or exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and safety standards.
• Educating patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment
