BayCare Health System in Winter Haven is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the PCU team at Winter Haven Hospital. The RN will provide patient care in a hospital setting, coordinating with the care team and ensuring compliance with nursing standards.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license in Florida, BLS, and at least 6 months of acute care experience. The role is full-time, night shift, with additional details on schedule and weekend rotation provided by BayCare.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 6 months RN acute care experience.
• ADN or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care providers to develop and assist in plan of care.
• Organizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with patient and family.
• Identifies patients at risk and prepares the room environment.

Position Description: RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
