Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit at Bartow Regional Medical Center. This position supports compassionate, high-quality patient care in a 72-bed community hospital with a long-standing commitment to Polk County families.

The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage care plans, and monitor patients on Medical/Surgical/Telemetry units. Nights, part-time, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM; on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 6 months RN acute care experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Position Description:

RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
