Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Bartow Regional Medical Center. The RN will provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry setting, collaborating with an inter-disciplinary team to develop and implement the plan of care.

Requirements include an active Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and 6 months RN acute care experience, plus an Associate Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment

Position Description

RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
