Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a progressive care setting in Independence, MO. The RN collaborates with medical providers to manage pre- and post-operative nursing care, assess conditions, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care accurately.

Responsibilities include admission and shift monitoring, following orders, medication administration, documentation, and advocacy for an excellent patient

Qualifications

• RN license required (Bachelor’s, Associate, or Diploma)
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification required within 12 months of hire
• Knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical procedures, medications, and equipment

• Perform medical procedures and follow provider orders
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Maintain thorough documentation of care
