Job summary

Aura Health seeks a PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings. You will assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac rhythms, and collaborate with care teams to administer medications and therapies.

Active Virginia RN license with at least 2 years PCU experience, BLS/ACLS, and up-to-date vaccines are required. Aura Health offers flexible scheduling and supportive local teams.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license; minimum 2 years PCU experience within past 4 years; BLS and ACLS certifications; QuantiFERON-TB Gold test; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

Role

PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings, including assessing and monitoring patient conditions, managing cardiac rhythms, administering medications and IV therapies, collaborating with care teams, maintaining accurate records, adhering to infection-control standards, educating patients and families, and adapting to various hospital units.

Qualifications

Active Virginia RN license, minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience within the past 4 years, current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications, recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test, COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Additional credentials may be required based on facility needs.

Key Skills

Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, patient education, teamwork, adaptability, and documentation skills.
