Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an RN to join our PCU nursing team. The role is full-time at 0.9 FTE, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 36 hours per week with every other weekend requirements.

The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced unit. Required qualifications include a BSN or BS/BA in Nursing, PA RN license, and BCLS; ACLS may be required depending on the area.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN license
• BSN or BS/BA in Nursing is required
• BCLS certification required or obtained on orientation
• ACLS required or obtained on orientation if applicable to area of practice
• ICU experience preferred

Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of patient care. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the healthcare team

Requirements:

• BSN or BS/BA degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN Pennsylvania State License required.
• Current BCLS required or obtained by completion of orientation.
• ACLS required or obtained by completion of orientation if Applicable to Area of Practice.
• Previous ICU experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrates ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills.
• Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
