Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the PCU nursing team. This is a full-time, 0.9 FTE position with a 36-hour workweek, 7a-730p, and every other weekend.

The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. A BSN and PA RN license are required; BCLS and ACLS as applicable are needed, with ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS/BA degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN Pennsylvania State License required.
• Current BCLS required or obtained by orientation.
• ACLS required or obtained by orientation if Applicable to Area of Practice.
• Previous ICU experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrates ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills.
• Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of patient care.
• Delegate patient care to other members of the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
