Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Patient Placement Registered Nurse to support timely, coordinated patient throughput and optimal bed utilization across hospitals. You will coordinate with nursing units, supervisors, and admitting departments to ensure timely and appropriate patient placement using data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Completion of a baccalaureate program in nursing or an Associate degree RN enrolled in a BSN program.
• Minimum of two years in hospital operations, patient flow, or clinical coordination.
• Current RN license for Minnesota and Wisconsin required upon hire; must obtain and maintain both licenses within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient placement with nursing units, Supervisors, House Charge Nurses, and admitting departments.
• Utilize data-driven insights to maintain real-time awareness of hospital capacity.
• Support efficient patient throughput and bed utilization across HealthPartners hospitals.

Work Schedule

.6 FTEs & .75 FTEs, Nights,12 hours, every third weekend

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a baccalaureate program in nursing orAssociatedegree RN enrolled in abachelor of nursingprogram.
• Minimum of two (2) years in hospital operations, patient flow, or clinical coordination.
• CurrentRegistered Nurse license for eitherMinnesotaorWisconsinrequireduponhire.MusthavebothcurrentMN & WIRegisteredNurse licensewithin 6 months of hire.Both Minnesota and Wisconsinlicensemust bemaintained.
