A leading health system in Montana is seeking a registered nurse to provide individualized assistance throughout the cancer care continuum. This role is responsible for case finding, patient assessment, and communication with both patients and healthcare teams. Candidates must be licensed in Montana as a registered nurse and have a preference for OCN certification and oncology experience. Strong organizational and communication abilities are essential, along with leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of oncology experience preferred.
• Case management or discharge planning experience preferred.
• Ability to lead teams and work in a self-directed environment.

Offers individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers throughout the cancer care continuum. Responsible for case finding, patient/family needs assessment, identifying and mobilizing resources, follow up, and communication with the patient/family and members of the health care team.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements

• Licensed in the State of Montana as a registered nurse.
• OCN Preferred.
• Three or more years of oncology experience preferred.
• Case management or discharge planning experience preferred.
• Requires problem solving, decision making, and critical thinking.
• Requires excellent leadership, organizational, written, and verbal communication, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work in a self-directed environment, with an ability to work with and lead teams.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to implement professional and community-based education programs.
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office required.
