Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• CPR - Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience within past five years or new nursing graduate within past two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care using evidence-based practice to optimize safety and reduce errors.
• Follow the six medication rights and administer medications according to patient age and condition.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families, document responses, and involve them in care planning.
• Identify learning needs and barriers to learning, and coordinate care with the health team.
