Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and document actions in the electronic medical record.

The RN role requires licensure and nursing degrees, with clinical competencies in pain management, patient advocacy, and timely communication.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license and nursing degree (Associate or Bachelor's) are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per department requirements.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to provide individualized care.
• Educate patients/families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
• Document care in the medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
