Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide safe, patient-centered care across diverse populations.

Requirements: NJ RN license, AHA BLS/CPR; BSN preferred or to be obtained within 3 years; at least 6 months nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation. Starting pay: $46.25/hour.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey RN license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six months or more nursing experience OR active Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program participant.
• Strong teamwork, accountability and patient-focused care orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies to ensure safe, individualized patient-centered care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and health-care team regarding status and plans.
• Ensure optimal patient and guest satisfaction and care experience.
• Administer medications using current documentation technology for safe delivery.
• Provide patient and family-centered care to optimize health and disease management.
• Collaborate across disciplines to manage plan of care from admission to discharge.
