Job summary

Northern Arizona Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate care for patients and families, including direct care, education, and discharge planning. The nurse will lead a care team, serve as a preceptor, and promote a safe, patient-centered environment.

The role requires collaboration with physicians and other health professionals, adherence to ANA standards, and diligent documentation in the EMR. Licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) must be kept current.

Qualifications

• BSN required within 6 years for new hires after 7/1/2016; established nurses encouraged to pursue BSN.
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license required.
• BLS required; ACLS required; PALS required within 90 days of hire; CPAN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for patients and families, including education and discharge planning.
• Provide direct patient care and leadership for ancillary staff as a team leader and preceptor.
• Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and protect patient privacy.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR; comply with regulations.
