Job summary

Independence Health System Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a designated group of patients.

You will coordinate with the interdisciplinary health care team to promote positive patient outcomes and ensure efficient unit operation. Essential functions include maintaining knowledge through education, complying with care standards, infection-control protocols, and accurate charting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Nursing refresher course may be required if employee hasn’t worked in an acute care setting for his / her most recent three consecutive years of professional employment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a designated group of patients.
• Coordinate and participate as an effective member of the interdisciplinary health care team.
• Maintain accuracy of patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection-control policies, medication administration and controlled substance regulations.
