Job summary

Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care within the Connecticut nursing practice framework. The RN will uphold standards, collaborate with the health care team, and support the patient and family through the care process.

Ideal candidates hold CT RN licensure, BSN preferred, and current BCLS certification; advanced certifications are encouraged as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire.
• Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
• Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Standards of Practice RN guided by ANA Scope and Standards; perform assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation and coordination of care.
• Standards of Professional Performance including ethics, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
