Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a nurse to plan, deliver, document, and evaluate patient care in an assigned area in alignment with provider orders and approved nursing standards. You will direct tasks of nursing staff, observe and assess patient conditions, and maintain timely documentation reflecting patient response to care.

Candidates must hold Ohio RN licensure and be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. AHA BLS is required or obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• A thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including related science areas.

Responsibilities

• Plans for, delivers, documents and evaluates nursing care of patients in an assigned area.
