Job summary

Abrazo Central Hospital in Phoenix seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit while coordinating care plans with other disciplines and guiding care delivery. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, safety, and teamwork within a collaborative environment.

You will participate in hourly rounding, support quality improvement, and contribute to a positive work culture within the Tenet system.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (L&D) or obtain within six months of hire.
• ACLS certification as applicable by facility/by department.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs on admission and ongoing across physical, psychosocial, and safety domains.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines and delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Implements nursing orders and ensures alignment with patient status and goals.
• Supervises and supports other healthcare staff during shifts.
