Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes applying evidence-based practice and coordinating care across services to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

A day in the life includes comprehensive nursing duties, ongoing patient/family education, and collaboration with physicians and support staff to maintain high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or diploma of Nursing required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Must have a current and valid RN license to work at the assigned location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency program participation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based policies and standards.
• Document and communicate patient status and treatment plans.
• Lift, position, and assist with patient care per safety guidelines.
