Job summary
Atlantic Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide high-quality patient care across our hospitals. You will monitor patients, administer medications, document care, educate patients, and coordinate with providers to adjust plans as needed.
Required: NJ RN license, accredited nursing program, and BLS. Preferred: BSN, ACLS, and 1+ year of experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
- 1+ year of nursing experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
- Records patient vital signs and medical information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
