Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care and lead patient education while guiding ancillary staff. You will perform hourly rounds, comprehensive assessments, and coordinate a discharge plan with the healthcare team.

Role requires Ohio licensure (or WV if applicable), BLS upon hire, and ACLS within 1 year. You will document in Meditech and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Verbal, clerical, numerical, and manual dexterity are required.
• Color vision and near visual acuity are necessary for patient care.
• Proper lifting techniques and body mechanics must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Participates in bedside shift report/handoff.
• Performs hourly rounding and essential nursing assessments.
• Develops and revises a plan of care and teaching for patient and family.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Meditech on time.
• Coordinates discharge teaching and documents accordingly.
• Interdisciplinary rounding and collaboration with the team.
