Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse.

The RN will assess patient needs, initiate and evaluate nursing care plans, and advocate for patients and families within a busy acute care setting. Responsibilities include coordinating interdisciplinary care, conducting hourly rounds to enhance safety and comfort, and collaborating with care partners to meet educational and spiritual needs.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma RN license required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS required within three (3) months of employment.
• PEARS certification preferred.
• One (1) year hospital-based experience required (full or part-time >20 hours/week).
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs of patients and plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plan of care and goals for each patient.
• Perform hourly rounds to improve safety, communication, and comfort.
• Collaborate with care partners to meet educational, physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
