Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Illinois is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to execute care plans, assist clients with daily activities, and safeguard well-being in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• 1 year nursing experience with IV/infusion and wound care
• English communication skills; written and spoken
• TB screen and criminal background check required
• Eligible to work in Illinois (IL)
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Execute on the client’s care plan
• Meet safety needs of the client; use equipment safely
• Work within your experience while maintaining safety
• Complete records and documentation accurately
• Service the East Central Illinois area
• Offer flexible visit times (700–1500, 1500–2300, 2300–700)
• May cover every other weekend and some weekdays

Responsibilities And Duties

• Execute on the client’s care plan
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the East Central Illinois area
• Looking for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends, very flexible schedule
• May cover every other weekend and a couple weekdays

Requirements

• 1 year previous Nursing experience with IV and infusion experience and wound care experience
• Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Illinois to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required and reliable transportation is mandatory
