Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Woodside, CA is hiring Home Care Aides to provide compassionate in-home support. Starts immediately with part-time or full-time schedules, including Day, Evening and Overnight shifts.

Pay ranges from $23–$26 per hour and includes training and growth opportunities. Responsibilities include implementing care plans, assisting with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and reporting changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• Active CA Home Care Aide registration required.
• Experience assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) within licensed scope.

Responsibilities

• Implement client care plans as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with ADLs and personal hygiene.
• Plan meals and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide reminders for medications.
• Document services and communicate changes to the care team.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the home care aide include, but are not limited to, the following-

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation
• Performing household services including housekeeping, laundry,
• Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
• Reporting changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
• Completing records regarding services performed.
• Driving to appointments or to run errands.
• Accurately records all hours worked.Remains alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance, responds immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling theCompany for guidance.
• Participating in all required entry‑level and annual training requirements.
• Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of SocialServices Home Care Services Bureau.
• Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee.
