Job summary

VI at Grayhawk is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care for residents, including assessment, diagnosis, planning and evaluation of treatments. The role also involves supervising staff and liaising with residents, families and the health care team.

Bachelor’s degree is preferred and active RN licensure is required in the practicing state. CPR and First Aid certifications are required or must be obtainable, with 6 months of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state.
• Has working knowledge of long-term care.
• CPR certification required by AHA/Red Cross.
• First Aid certification required or able to obtain.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience preferred.
• Experience or continuing education in elder care preferred.
• Courteous and professional manner in interactions with others.
• Resident- and customer-focused problem-solving approach.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior care to assigned residents including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatments.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse - RN

As an RN you will be responsible for providing superior care to assigned residents, to include assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, evaluation of administered treatments and quality assurance / performance improvement activities. This essential role also involves the supervision of several talented staff members as well as establishing relationships with the resident, family and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants are required to be graduates from an accredited school of nursing.Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where practicing is required.
• Has a working knowledge of long-term care.
• Current CPR certification as approved by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
• Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Experience or continuing education in the care of elderly is preferred.

• Use a residentand customer-focused approach to problem-solving and goal-setting.
