Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead on-site occupational health services in a large Wisconsin manufacturing facility. You will triage, treat injuries, and coordinate EMS during emergencies while documenting encounters in EMR and maintaining privacy guidelines.
You will support OSHA records, workers' compensation processes, and wellness initiatives, collaborating with remote medical directors and operations managers to ensure high-quality care for employees.
• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for occupational and nonoccupational injuries and illnesses
• Respond to workplace medical emergencies and provide assessment, stabilization, treatment, and emergency medical services coordination as needed
• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using evidence-based treatment protocols
• Document patient encounters in electronic medical records and company systems
• Assist with OSHA recordkeeping, injury and illness documentation, incident tracking, and regulatory records
• Assist with workers' compensation and non-work-related injury management and case coordination
• Perform reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing
• Provide health education, coaching, and wellness support
• Promote injury prevention, healthy lifestyle initiatives, and employee wellness programs
• Coordinate travel health visits and related healthcare services
• Educate employees on treatment plans, self-care, and return-to-work expectations
• Support occupational health programs, medical surveillance, and health screenings
• Communicate with supervisors, managers, and stakeholders regarding employee care within privacy guidelines
• Build relationships with client leadership and stakeholders through responsive communication and professional consultation
• Deliver compassionate, professional, and timely care to employees
• Collaborate remotely with Medcor Operations Managers, Medical Directors, and clinical support teams
• Work independently in an onsite occupational health clinic within a large manufacturing facility
Demonstrates expertise in providing first aid, triage, and treatment for workplace injuries, along with strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills. Proficient in electronic medical records management and committed to promoting employee wellness and injury prevention.
