Job summary

Peninsula Post-Acute in Burlingame, CA is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a part-time, on-call role serving a high-acuity post-acute population. Shifts include AM and PM, with coverage on Thursdays through Saturdays to support patient care and continuity.

You will provide and oversee nursing care, administer medications, and perform comprehensive assessments while coordinating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident well-being and safe transitions.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee nursing care for a designated group of residents.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning.
• Support LVNs and CNAs; document in EMR per regulations.
