Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a part-time PACU RN to provide direct postoperative care in the Surgical Services unit. The role supports a comprehensive recovery pathway for surgical patients in a regional, non-profit hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Indiana RN license with 2+ years in Surgical Services, Critical Care, or ER, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. EOE.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• At least two (2) years previous Surgical Services, Critical Care or ER experience preferred.
• Training between Pre-op and PACU being an expectation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, comprehensive continuum of care for surgical patients in PACU.
• Monitor patient recovery, vitals, pain control and airway status.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure seamless postoperative care.
