Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the PACU in Surgical Services. The RN will provide direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge, with 18 hours per week across two days (8:30a-6p).

We welcome candidates with a Diploma RN or higher and current Indiana license. Required BLS; ACLS and PALS within 12 months of hire; 2+ years in Surgical Services/CCU/ER preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma RN; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• PALS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• At least two years previous Surgical Services, Critical Care or ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
