We are currently seeking opportunities for a PRN PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor of HOPD, the PreOp/PACU nurse is responsible for implementing the PreOp and Post Anesthesia Care records, nursing care plans, and the assimilation of the patients’ hospital records. The PreOp/PACU nurse also implements all physician orders, provides for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients’ condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. At times, the nurse may assist physicians with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
