Job summary

AHN's Heritage Valley Sewickley is seeking an experienced PACU nurse for casual, 10-hour shifts beginning between 07:30 and 09:00. You will join the PACU team providing post-anesthesia care with a focus on patient safety and recovery.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current PA licensure. BLS and ACLS are required; PALS within 12 months. On-call and late shifts may be required; prior PACU/CCU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania nursing license.
• ACLS, BLS; PALS within 1 year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.
• On-call and late shifts may be required.

Work Hours: Casual. Monday thru Friday 10 Hour shifts starting anywhere from 0730-0900

Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Advanced Cardiac Life Support. PALS (must obtain within one year of start date). Based on operational needs, on-call and late shifts may be required. One year current Critical Care or current PACU experience. In the absence of applicants with one year current experience, will accept recent PACU or CCU experience within the past 5 years.

Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Certification in this specialty area.
